Loyalty bursary terms and conditions

• Loyalty Bursaries are one-off awards. They are applicable once for the first or only year of postgraduate study.

• A student holding a Loyalty Bursary but withdrawing from or leaving his/her postgraduate programme part-way through the academic year will be entitled only to a pro rata proportion of the value of the Bursary.

• Loyalty Bursaries are not offered to students whose postgraduate fees are paid in full through receipt of another award, such as DTA, Graduate Teaching Assistantship or Research Council Studentship.

• Loyalty Bursaries are awards set against University fees, and have no cash value.

• The latest intake a current final year student can register on a postgraduate research programme and receive the bursary is July 2011.

• There is no need to make an application. SEE Loyalty Scholarships will be awarded automatically. The sum of £500 will be subtracted from the fee payable for a full-time postgraduate programme. £250 will be subtracted from the fee payable for a part-time programme
